TSC Updated Salary Scales For Primary & Secondary Senior Teachers
There are many reasons for senior instructors employed by the Teachers Service Commission, TSC in public primary and secondary schools to smile. Our trusted sources have informed us that starting in July 2023, their compensation may be subject to an increase.
All senior Teachers in primary and secondary schools would be included among the beneficiaries.
According to the TSC CEO, the aforementioned professors are crucial to institutions and deserve increased pay. A senior teacher in a primary school teaching in grade C5 will now make 64631 shillings per month instead of 47896.

This would represent a rise of 17,000 shillings, according to this argument. In comparison to their present compensation of 115163 shillings, secondary school students would receive a staggering 157656 shillings, an increase of 40.000 shillings.
The CEO announced that if the evaluation is approved, all teachers’ pay will rise. The CEO went on to declare that all instructors will receive pay increases under the signed Collective Bargaining Agreement, CBA for 2021–2025.
The following is a list of the TSC teachers’ salaries under the 2021–2025 CBA.
Principals in charge (T-scale 15)
Additional county and federal schools with more than 1000 students enrolled are overseen by a chief principle. They would receive an additional sh.9496, according to the theory.

According to this scale, the lowest-paid principal will get sh131,380 a month, while the highest recipient would get sh157,656.
T SCALE 14 SENIOR PRINCIPALS
More than 540 kids attend county schools under the direction of these institutional leaders. Their respective monthly wages will be 118,242 and 121,890 shillings.
PRINCIPALS (T SCALE 13)
They are in charge of the subcounty’s schools. According to this suggestion, the lowest-paid principal in this category will receive Sh 104,644 while the top recipient will receive Sh 106,812.
DEPUTY PRINCIPALS III
These administrators are in charge of the county and all-day schools. This group’s lowest paid worker will be compensated with 91,041 shillings.
Senior Head Teachers, Senior Masters II, and Deputy Principals IV
All primary schools with more than 1000 students are under the supervision of senior headteachers with job grade D1 (T SCALE 11). On the other hand, senior master II grade D1 (T SCALE 11) is in charge of county schools with more than 540 students.
DEPUTY PRINCIPALS III
These administrators are in charge of the county and all-day schools. This group’s lowest paid worker will be compensated with 91,041 shillings.

All elementary schools that have fewer than 1000 students are run by administrators at grade C5 (T SCALE 10).
