TSC CBC Training Schedule And Venues Per County
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is set to commence retooling instructors in Grade 7 classes for the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) and Competency Based Assessment (CBA) from October 2 to 13, 2023.
The training approach will follow a smart cascade model, starting with the training of Master Trainers, who will then train Trainers of Trainees (TOTs). These Master Trainers will also provide professional support during face-to-face training for teachers.
Here are the key dates and participants for the training:
1. Master Trainers (regular and SNE) will undergo training at KISE from October 2 to 4. Participants will be selected from various institutions, including TSC, KICD, KNEC, KEMI, CEMASTEA, MoE, KISE, and TTCs.
2. TOTs (both normal and SNE) will be trained from October 6 to 7 at TTCs and County select sites. Participants for this stage will be drawn from CSOs, TTC Teacher Educators, MoE QAS, and TSC SCDs.
3. From October 9 to 13, teachers will receive retooling in subject clusters at TTCs and county-selected locations. This training will encompass teachers of languages, science, mathematics, humanities, and technical courses.
