Treasury Announces 426 Jobs With Up to Ksh100,000 Salary; How to Apply
On Tuesday, June 13, the National Treasury and Economic Planning issued a call for applications for the 426 open positions within the ministry.
Principal Resource Mobilisation Officers (13), Principal Debt Management Officers (8), Principal Assets Management Officers (4), and Principal Internal Auditor (204), among others, were among the posts that were advertised.Â
Senior Internal Auditors (96), Principal Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations Officers (7), Senior Economic Policy Analysts (12), Principal Finance Officers (22), Finance Officers (41) and Principal Pensions Assistants (12) were additional personnel.
The employment ranged in job grade, with some paying as much as Ksh100,000 with benefits.

The monthly salary for job grade 8 employees is Ksh87,360, plus a Ksh35,000 housing allowance and Ksh8,000 commuter allowance.
Job grade 9 applicants will receive a salary of Ksh59,120 along with a monthly commuting allowance of Ksh6,000 and a housing allowance of Ksh28,000.

All interested candidates were urged to check the prerequisites on the official website, www.treasury.go.ke.
To apply for your preferred position, navigate to the website’s Resource Centre tab and select the Vacancies tab.
Only those who are successful and have been shortlisted will be notified. During interviews, they will be expected to present original copies of their National Identity Cards, academic and professional transcripts, and certifications.
To submit an application, use form PSC 2 (updated 2016), and mail it to the Principal Secretary of the National Treasury in Nairobi at P.O. Box 30007-00100.
Candidates were advised not to submit forged documents.
Treasury invited minorities, those who are marginalised, and persons with disabilities to apply in accordance with Constitution’s Chapter 232 (1) on fair competition and representation of varied communities.
Additionally, during the interview, all public officers are required to present the original appointment letter for their current substantive role.
All submissions must be received by June 30, 2023, at the latest.
