Over 50 Students At Eregi Girls High Hosipitalized
On Monday, more than fifty students from St. Theresa Eregi Girls High School in Kakamega were hospitalized due to an undisclosed illness, leaving students and medical professionals perplexed. Some of the students interviewed by NTV mentioned experiencing weak joints without any apparent discomfort.
This situation has understandably raised concerns within the school community and among parents, as the exact cause of the illness remains a mystery. Currently, thirteen of the affected students are undergoing medical examinations and receiving treatment at Kakamega Referral Hospital.
The hospital authorities have refrained from providing detailed information or comments about the cases, citing the need for further testing and investigations to determine the underlying cause of the condition.
As medical experts diligently work to identify the nature of this illness and formulate appropriate treatment strategies, both the school and local health authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety and well-being of the affected students.
