KUCCPS Releases 20223/2024 Placement Results; How to Apply
On Thursday, 15 June, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) stated that it has reopened its portal for students to check whether their initial tertiary programme applications had been successful or not.
The university placement body advised 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) students to visit the portal to see if they had been temporarily placed in an institution of higher learning in a statement.
Those who had not been scheduled for placement were also instructed to revise in accordance with the cutoff points and their KCSE results.
KUCCPS further stated that 2022 KCSE candidates would be notified through SMS if their application was successful or not.

“You will begin receiving SMS notifications today (Thursday, June 15).” Tomorrow (Friday, June 15), the notification will also be put on your portal.
“If you applied previously and were unable to secure any of the courses you desired, you will need to apply again.” Those who have been provisionally placed in a course do not need to reapply,” according to the announcement.
However, successful applicants will not be able to learn about the course or university to which they have been accepted.
An official from the body told Kenyans.co.ke that the other information of the university and TVET placement would be released in due course.
“The candidate will only be notified whether or not their application was successful.” The exact course and institution details will be revealed later,” the officials indicated.
How to Check
SMS verification can be used to determine whether an application was successful. KUCCPS is intended to notify registered phone numbers of the initial application’s success.
Candidates for the 2022 KCSE can also check whether their application was successful by entering into their portal and viewing the message provided on the status part of their application.
How to Revise
Those who are unsuccessful can apply by visiting www.students.kuccps.net and submitting an application based on their results and the cutoff points offered for courses at various universities.
“The cut-off points for this year are unavailable.” “Cut-off points from previous years have been provided to help you,” KUCCPS noted.
The portal will be shut down on June 27, 2023.
