KMTC New Updated Entry Requirements 2023/2024
In accordance with the most recent set of requirements, a student must have earned at least a grade of C- or better on their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examinations in order to be eligible to enroll at KMTC and pursue a certificate program that leads to the KCSE.
In addition, in order to be eligible for participation in diploma programs, all prospective students must have obtained a grade of at least C in all of the subjects that make up the cluster.
It is important to take note that it is believed that upgrading KMTC courses requires a certificate in the relevant discipline.
In order to be eligible for Higher Diploma programs, a person must first have earned a Diploma by satisfactorily completing a Diploma program that conforms to the requirements outlined below.
1. The number of required credits and length of the KMTC upper diploma program
A person who has worked in their field for a minimum of two years and holds a certificate or certification in the fields that are relevant.
The length of time spent participating in this training program is twelve months.

2. The number of years required to complete a diploma program and its requirements are two of the most important admissions factors;
In addition to having received a mean grade of C on the KCSE examination (or its equivalent), applicants are required to have completed an approved mix of additional disciplines. These topics must include English, Kiswahili, biology, and other related biological sciences, in addition to mathematics, chemistry, physics, and related physical sciences.

The training for this program only needs to be completed over the course of three years, in contrast to the three and a half years needed for community health nursing.
