The university where you attended also keeps a similar record which comprises of your name, Admission Number, your yearly transcripts and certificate.
Procedure For replacement
- Report the matter to police to obtain a police abstract
- Remain patient for a month as you keep looking for the certificate
- If you find that you have not found it or the police have not informed you about the certificate, them you can now approach the University where you attended.
- The university will charge you a processing fee ranging from Sh5,000- Sh15,000 depending on the university.
- Pay the fee to the university account.
Processing the certificate will require that you obtain certain documents which are mandatory for processing. These documents include;
- The police abstract/report
- Your National Identity Card/ passport
- The admission number you were using while in school
- Your names as they appear on your ID and School Admission documents.
