The results for the DV Lottery will be out starting today.

Even as these results are about to be released, you need to be aware on how you can check for your results and what do you require when checking.

The DV lottery applications were done last year and we’re closed in November. From the data, over 30 million people submitted their applications.

How to check DV lottery results

• Firstly, Using your browser, copy and paste this link https://dvprogram.state.gov/to your browser’s address bar.
• A welcome page will be opened similar to the one below.

• Secondly, Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Check Status. The page below will be displayed then click continue.

• A page will be displayed where you will be required to enter you personal information used during application and enter the confirmation code

• Click submit after entering the above details. Ensure that that the details entered are correct.
• A page will be displayed showing details of whether you were successfully selected or not.

NB: – Ensure that when typing your confirmation number, take note of the letters and numbers properly.

– Latsly, If you have forgotten your confirmation number, you can click on forgot confirmation number then you will enter your details used during application then you will be sent the number via email.
