2022 KNEC Payments For KCSE Contracted Professionals
The remuneration rates for hired experts who oversaw the 2022 KCSE and KCPE exams conducted in November and December of last year (2022) have been released by the Kenya National Examinations Council, or KNEC.

All primary school heads who served as Centre Managers for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education tests would earn a daily sustenance allowance of Sh500, according to the Council’s payment information.
For these tests, which were administered between November and December 2022, these teachers will be compensated for a total of 4 days (including the rehearsal day).
However, all Secondary school principals must also make a daily salary of Sh500 for a period of 18 days.

The top paid Supervisor will take home a total of kSh12,510 in this instance, while the highest paid invigilator would take home kSh9860.
Although they will be present during the exam time as assistant Centre Managers in every school, Deputy Head Teachers and Principals have not been paid by knec.
Teachers who prepare and oversee science topic practical exams for the KCSE exams are likewise excluded.
Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) tests were given in 2022 by a combined 286 000 employees contracted by Knec.
